Atlanta, Georgia for the South East Territory (location is negotiable)
Houston / Dallas for the Southern Territory (location is negotiable)
West Coast for the Western Territory (location is negotiable)
Work with customers to determine the best instrumentation for their needs and budget, prepare quotations, follow-up on customer purchases, maintain documentation for sales, call vendors for detailed information, work with manufacturers, and help customers analyze alternatives. Cold calling and travel by car are necessary. Photovolt Instruments also will provide a substantial number of leads and has a long and positive history with many customers in all territories.
A knowledge of laboratory instruments is needed. Any technical or science degree is acceptable. Good PC skills with word processing, spread sheet and standard office equipment is required.
Several years in selling. Typical customers are engineering companies, pharmaceuticals, refinery, government institutions, and paper companies along with many others.
